And so, Agent Wastrel “R”, Wastrel “E” and Missy Wastrel “S” decided to go on another holiday trip.

Probably Definitely the most horrible assam laksa noodles I’ve ever had (picture taken when noodles is all gone…). And it cost a whopping RM 9.50 before tax!

The KL trip, and the now-obligatory KFC meal~ We went to Midvalley and Sungei Wang Plaza, and also met up with Midori. Midvalley is like Suntec, and Sungei Wang Plaza is like Far East Plaza. Seems Sungei Wang is more enjoyable!

On the second day of our trip to Kluang, I went trekking with my mum at Gunung Lambak while Wastrel E went fishing with my Dad and got a awful sunburn. Though I didn’t get any sunburn I got lots of mosquito bites that makes me looks as though I got chicken pox. haha…

It was an unexpected trip, hence I was not fully geared. Only armed with a Tee shirt, shorts and a pair of cheapo slippers I started to trekk Gunug Lambak on 30 April 2007. The air was fantastic and the weather was great.

The trek was breath-taking. Breath taking as in I was gasping for air due to lack of exercise. Haha… There is no proper stairs, only “earth stairs”and I was being literally being chased by mosquito. The moment I stop to rest I could see swarms of mosquito started to crowd around my legs. To prevent myself from overfeeding the mosquito I tried not to stop for rest.

Once, we reached the top of the hill we are all rewarded with a cup of coffee /tea and bee hoon. This refreshment was provided free of charge by the Gunung Lambak country club. This club is form by a bunch of friendly pple that loves the mountain. They provides complimentary food to the trekkers on very Sunday and if you like you could make a donation to them of any amount.

Lesson learn is not to wear shorts and slippers to trekking.
