Recently just watched the show 投名状 (The Warlords)… wah lau eh very nice cos damn bloody!! kill ppl like no biz..seeing the 3 bros remind me one liu bei, kwan yu n zhang fei during the san guo dynasty… but the stupider version of cos, no tactic just use body count for the battle. Their 1st battle seem so much like dynasty warrior where main char 1 person can chiong 1000 K.O…… althou abit exaggerated the show but quite a nice movie… not so much for the battles or tactic but more on the internal struggles each chars faced after the battles.. n of cos the scene tt 李连杰 kicking 金城武 ass make it a must see movie… i gif it a rating of 4/5. So if u haven watch it yet go watch it becos 大哥是對的!!!!
Blair Withch Project 3:The Bourne Ultimatium
Monday, August 20th, 2007Just when to watch the bourne ultimatium wif missy wastrel s on sat…. quite a nice show wif interesting story plot for an action movie.. Lots of explosion n fighting completed wif car chases scene… Have wat an action movie should have n more.. But why the hell is the cameraman shaking the camera during all the action scene??!! wtf its like the cameraman is being chased by some unknown like in the blair witch project…wah kao disappointing man…nice action movie totally ruin by the stupid shaking camera… Seem like the director kinda dunno wat he want to shoot so end up swinging the camera around..end up all the scenes onli induced vomitting for missy wastrel s…. kaozz
Overall its an ok film except for the damn fark up action scenes… Get a 2.5/5 rating from me… Could have been a 4.5 if not for the stupid camera swing… so watch it if onli u r ok wif motion sickness……….

Sunday, July 29th, 2007yo everyone, suppose to b blogging abt my genting trip but decided to skip it since wastrel r already blog abt it.. So instead i bring to u The Simpsons-Movie..
Well, the movie abt Homer Simpson trying to save Springfield from being utterly destroy by the government due to a situation which he create.. As usual, he onli cause the situation to b worst, otherwise where’s the laugh..haha.. but as expected he managed to get the happy ending for the movie.
Overall, i would give it a rating of 4.5/5 if u r a simpson fan..haha as the movie stay true to the tv version… shallow plot n full of laughs.. I would say this is a must see for a simpson fans, otherwise just rent the dvd when its out.. cya
Not-So-Fantastic Four
Wednesday, June 20th, 2007Back from the Fantastic Four movie #2 today, with Wastrel “E” and Missy Wastrel “S”. I already knew the movie is kind of crappy, but still went ahead and watched it anyway! Hey there’s Silver Surfer! (And Jessica Alba, too, but… Surfer’s cooler!)
No synopses here, since you can Wiki the entire storyline if you want to. In short, the movie is born of Hollywood magic (and scriptwriter) and has many, many inaccuracies (or differences?) from the comic. And Surfer is not emo, unlike the comic series! He’s actually darn cool, with something like 10-15 lines of dialogue throughout the entire movie! And oh, where’s that “To me, my board!” line?
And how cheaply Galactus is being made! Clouds? Hello? I was expecting the typical incarnation of Galactus to Earthlings… ie that purple-helmeted humanoid. Not clouds! Perhaps the movie makers spent too much money on doing Surfer’s animation and decided to cut cost and make Galactus just clouds instead. Duh!
Other than that, the movie’s actually quite… ok. 3 Wastrel Stars out of 5.
And we got dinner settled at Sumo House. Touted as the cheapest Japanese restaurant in Singapore. I ate that $2.90 Katsudon set with free green tea. It has quite a few items – Katsudon (pork in egg and rice), two slices of oranges, miso soup and some preserved veggies. It’s cheap in price, and also cheap in quality too. Fills the stomach but… something’s just missing. As Missy Wastrel “S” points out, “fills the stomach but doesn’t leave you satisfied.”
