Wastrels Anonymous

神雕侠侣 This current version is acted by Huang Xiao Ming and Crystal Liu, as Yang Guo and XiaoLongNu respectively. This is the umpteen remake of the popular JY’s work. It’s currently showing every weekend at 7pm on our little animal farm. Although this is another remake, I personally like this version due to the detailed swordplay, choreographs, graphics and the supporting casts. They all fit the role so well, with a few exceptions of course. I saw this last weekend and I immediately went searching high and low for the continuing episodes. I am now unto episode 29, where they are finally married, I am so happy. ^^ Guess I will buy the dvd set, when I see it. This is one of my favourite stories!

Anyway the story is about how this lovebirds overcome years of hardships and being shunned upon by others. How they fight for each others life and how cruel the world can get. The show is replayed so often that it is unnecessary to go into great details on the storyline. ^^

I believe that everybody should be familiar with the storyline, so I will concentrate on what I have learnt from the story; the love they have for each other. Perhaps love is the most difficult thing to decipher for ages past and ages to come. Love does not seek reward. For love, you would always want the best for the other person, but the world they lived in don’t see it this way, they expect people to live by law and regulations, that teacher can never be the student’s wife. If you ask me, that’s hypocritical. Love knows no boundaries and I mean true love, not lust. Why is that so? If love has so many boundaries, then why call it love, it’s call imprisonment! When you love someone you will give up your life just to save the other. You will want to spend eternity with that person, that’s love. I see love between the two lead character but sadly I seldom see love between anyone in the real world. I think I shall just stop here …
